From Veynes, mountain passes follow one after another and panoramas unfold. Among the most accessible and beautiful in the Buëch region:
- Col des Eygaux: starting from Veynes, an ideal warm-up with gradients of 7-8%;
- Col du Festre (1,441 m): the link between the Veynes area and the Dévoluy ski resorts, passing through Montmaur;
- Col de Cabre: a classic climb in the Buëch region, to combine with Col du Festre for a beautiful loop;
- Col de Flachière: between the Buëch valley and the Rosannais, an opportunity to discover small remote villages in the countryside;
- Haut-Buëch loop: a subtle and charming blend of Alpine and Provençal landscapes, 78 km with 1,093 m of elevation gain.

For more technical riders, routes starting from the Veynes tourist office offer up to 26 km and 765 m of elevation gain on exposed single tracks—reserved for experienced mountain bikers.
Riders seeking grand adventures tackle the Grande Traversée des Hautes-Alpes by Mountain Bike (GTHA), which connects La Grave to Laragne-Montéglin while crossing 8 sites.
